THE BROKEN HEART
It leaves no room for anything else. Though hope and joy does it’s best to break though, the broken heart doesn’t care. Seconds, of a miniscule smile cracks through, only to sink back to emptiness.
Can a broken heart be fixed . . .YES! HOW? . . .By excepting the fact that what broke your heart is gone. Like having the last slice of bread in the bag. What? . . .When you eat the last piece of bread or anyone else eats it you get more. But it is not the same loaf as the last loaf . . .But it is still bread.
The broken heart does not care about bread and eating. The broken heart does not care about getting more of the same from a different loaf or any other. It wants what broke it in the first place. The Love that is gone.
WHY? Why the Love that broke you. Why not new love. Why not go out and test all the other Love that is out there . . .And there is Love out there waiting for you. The only thing is, is, you have to go look for it and out of the blue it finds you.
I KNOW IT IS HARD TO LET GO. IT HURTS TO LET GO. BUT SOMETIMES LETTING GO IS ALL IT TAKES, to mend the broken heart.
